Day 132 - With Liberty and Justice for All

It is the Soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us Freedom of the Press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us Freedom of Speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer,
Who has given us the Freedom to demonstrate.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer,
Who has given us the right to a fair trial;

And it is the Soldier--who salutes the flag,
Who serves the flag, and
Whose coffin is draped by the flag--
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

By Charles M. Province

"Now the Lord is that Spirit:
and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty."
1 Corinthians 3:17

America is one of the greatest nations in the history of the world; it is also the world's longest ongoing constitutional republic. Although this original form of government has endured well over two centuries, America's longevity is only as stable and secure as her foundation.

So what is the foundation of America?

One Nation Under God
